A number of studies published this month are grabbing media attention for suggesting that various cannabinoids found in cannabis products could help treat or even prevent Covid-19 in patients. The bottom line? It is far too early to tell if any of these studies will prove cannabis could treat Covid-19 in the real world, let alone if they mean cannabis products can be used as a treatment or preventative for Covid-19.

According to two press releases published today, Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. has acquired Arizona-based Bloom Dispensaries for roughly $211 million, taking the company’s four retail locations and their two cultivation/processing locations in Arizona. Additionally, Curaleaf announced two new retail locations in Tampa Bay and Largo, Florida.
