New Jersey Legalizes Adult Use Cannabis

Following voters passing a ballot measure back in November, Governor Phil Murphy has signed three bills into law, which legalizes adult use cannabis in the state of New Jersey. The legislation creates a commission tasked with issuing regulations by June this year. Advocates across the state say lawmakers have included a number of powerful social equity provisions. As NJ begins their rollout, we now expect PA and NY to legalize adult use cannabis within the next two years.
