The presentation will address the industry’s ongoing concerns with legalization and access to traditional banking and financial services. Kuipers Blake and Morel will also provide insight on the federal Secure and Fair Enforcement Regulation (SAFER) Banking Act and discuss President Biden’s cannabis reform, in addition to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recommendation to reclassify cannabis as a Schedule III substance on the Controlled Substance Act (CSA).
