A2LA and ASA provide Cannabis Specific Accreditation for Testing Labs

A2LA has partnered with ASA – Americans for Safe Access, to offer a set of voluntary requirements derived from the Recommendations for Regulators – Cannabis Operations (Laboratory Operations), created by ASA in coordination with AHPA. These requirements supplement ISO/IEC 17025 to ensure that appropriate security, safety, data management, reporting, sample handling and disposal procedures are used and that local, state and federal requirements exist to perform testing on Cannabis products.
